Why Cheers?
Cheers is an interjection to express good wisher (happiness, good health, etc.) before drinking with someone.  It must always come in a plural form, like thanks, congratulations and the sort.

It should also be noted that in British English, cheers is a common and informal expression (or a substitute) for goodbye and thank you.

為什麼"Cheers"?
Cheers是一個感嘆詞，是跟別人飲酒前說的，表示好的願望 (快樂、健康等)。這個詞一定要以眾數出現，跟 thanks 和 congratulations 等詞一樣。

要注意，在英式英語裡，cheers 是一個口語常用的詞語 (或一個代替)。表示再見和多謝。
