to make a pig of oneself 過分貪嘴

古今中外，「豬」代表的形象都是「嘴饞」或「沒規矩」。所以在英文裡，如果說「將自己變成豬」 ( make a hog of oneself / make a pig of pig of oneself)，意思就是「過份貪嘴」 (be greedy)，或是「連別人的份也吃」(eat [have] more than one's share)。

Example:
(1) Mother: Don't make a pig of yourself. You should leave some for other people.
　 母親：不要過份貧嘴該留一些給別人吃。

(2) This meal is so good that I'm afraid I'm making a pig of myself.
菜如此豐盛，我擔心我會貪吃。

另外一句類似的成語是：「舉動很像豬」(behave [act] like a hog)，也就是形容某人「一舉一動很粗魯」(behave in a rude manner) :

(3) He acted like a hog in taking more than his share.
他行為就像一頭豬似魯莽，連別人的部份也吃掉了。

最後提醒讀者，美食當前也要稍稍注意餐桌禮儀，才不致於被認為 act like a hog.
